Display is in good condition. SMALL SIGNS OF USE (SEE PHOTOS). THE BOX IS FULL The MARTE visor was manufactured in Spain in the early sixties. It is made of a hard, brittle plastic that is easily cracked. That probably explains why these viewers are so rare today. The viewer itself is large and feels quite"" chunky"" . Cards bearing photos are also large, measuring 200mm x 100mm and contain only six stereo pairs, each photo is 20mm x 20mm. The film used is a common problem, that of losing their pigment color with the passage of time, which eventually fades to a monochrome finish magenta, but the image detail is still good. Note that the lenses are riveted in place and that the main body is screwed. The cards are manually move up and down with a spring which engages in a hole in the slide, to help positioning. The description of the view is visible in a small window between and below the viewing lens.
