This is a stereoscopic viewer manufactured by Henry Swan in the 1850's. The display, patented in London in 1858, has a knotty wood frame walnut and comes presented in a box of the same material that has come to us in very good condition despite its more than 150 years. The display is extensible, so that you can pan and zoom images to enjoy the 3D effect. In addition the small houses coffer also storage space for stereoscopic views that could be achieved at the London Stereoscope Company, which precisely is founded at the same time and became the leading producer of estereosópicas views, with a worldwide network of offices and photographers.
