This folding camera hand and foot Mackenstein is able"" as is"" . Tapered leather bellows plum color have cracks and have retained a good color with a little fade at the corners and folds. The chamber retracts and extends smoothly as it should. Brass fixtures have retained much of its original painted and are all running. The camera is equipped with a shutter unbranded"" Patent Composite"" , which appears to be able to function even if the camera had a number of additional single sheets. The lens is marked"" E. Krause, Paris, No. 55247, Tessar-Zeiss 1: 6.5, F = 210"" , no chips, cracks or fungi in the glass elements and has its' top. Manufacturers plate at the front has retained a good color and is clear and legible and the letters printed on the front of the bed. The viewfinder is missing the glass. No chips or cracks in the glass screen and measuring 7 inches by 5 1/4. The mahogany body is covered with leather, and can not find any breakage or major tear in this, only the usual scratches, marks and scratches would expect from a well-used item this time. Mahogany and ebony have developed a lovely color depth and patina over the years. There is a superficial crack in the top of the bracket ebony and there is also some damage to the base of both struts ebony on one side and missing a piece on the other side there is a crack that has been repaired. Table lens still feels quite sturdy. The loops of the top and camera work well folds well and the handle is securely attached and is strong.
