The Deckrullo-Nettel is a series of chambers foldable strut plate wooden body with focal plane shutters. They were first manufactured by Nettel Kamerawerk from 1909, [1] and were continued by Contessa-Nettel between 1919 and 1926, and then by Zeiss Ikon to 1928. The Deckrullo-Nettel is an improved model the Nettel; its name first appeared in catalogs as Deckrouleau-Nettel (Deck = 'deck'), referring to the shutter of the autocapturante focal plane (i.e., the shutter is light tight while being tensioned, the shutter of the original Nettel not is autocapturante, the cameras are otherwise very similar).
