The Savoy is a 35mm camera made in France by Royer, introduced in 1956 [1]. Savoy I is unusual in that the panel is removable lens for use in an enlarger or projector. It was loaded with film front, via the detachable panel. There were two kinds of Savoy I, Type 2 with a higher top shell that housed a larger display. The front loading has been described as"" disastrous"" [1], which greatly complicates the load.
