Lens: Meniscus Shutter: Rotativo film type: 120 image size: 6 x 9 cm original list price (USD): 2.00 categories: 120, box, brownie This is not offered often known Brownie with original box Palmer Cox. This is a Canadian version. The call Brownie Camera Camera was the first single hand that could be used by anyone, even by children. To make it attractive to the latter group, George Eastman thought it was useful to put the camera name elves author and illustrator of children Palmer Cox. These elves Brownies were called and were so popular that Eastman was convinced that the camera would be a great success if he gave the name of Brownie. He not only used the name of the elves, but also placed an image of a figure resembling that of Brownie on the cover cardboard camera. The small camera became very popular. And a Brownie camera costs only a dollar. The small camera brought photography to the masses. Despite its age, both the camera and the box seem reasonable. The box shows traces of use, but is held together with tape. The edges and corners show some wear, but still the colors of the box being magnificent. Small stains on the camera itself, but otherwise in good condition for use, the shutter still works.
