The EOS 500 is a 35mm SLR camera with autofocus basic level introduced by Canon in 1993. It is known as the EOS Rebel XS in the US and EOS Kiss market in Japan. An almost identical model without flash was available on the American market called EOS Rebel X. models EOS 500N successors are released in 1996.
