Improvements in these models regarding the EOS 1000 is a new shutter capable of reaching a speed of 1 / 2000s. The autofocus speed has also improved with more accurate and rapid response. The film advance and rewind mechanization have also been changed with a significant reduction of audible noise. The Mode dial also contains an SF setting: for a soft approach. This feature takes 2 exposures on the same frame. The first exhibition is focused and the second is smooth. The soft setting can be adjusted in two steps.
