years 1930/1940 Folding binoculars"" RAPID OPTIC"" . Has a (folding) dimensions of 8.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm and when deployed, its overall dimensions are 9.5 x 3.5 x 10.5 cm. It has a compass on one side and a mirror on the other. It can also be used as a binocular magnifier (single and double), mirror signal I mirror, telescope and stereoscope, as shown in the instructions that accompany the instrument. It is housed in a cardboard box 9 x 3 x 3 cm. Complete with original box and instructions (handwritten on top) Built in a thermoplastic of the time (Bakelite, celluloid, etc ...) amber In very good condition, with the mirror slightly chopped (see detailed photo) Focus can be adjusted by means of a wheel (see detailed photo) In the compass (see photo detail) is drawn an arrow with approximate magnetic declination of Paris at that time.
