The Ilford Advocate is a 35mm aluminum alloy cast white enamel manufactured in UK by Kennedy Instruments, a subsidiary of Ilford. It was introduced in 1949 (Series 1), and updated in 1952 (series 2) with a larger flash synchronization target; production stopped in 1957. The first batch of series cameras 1 has a plate chrome pressure. The target can be a Dallmeyer Anastigmat 35mm f / 4.5 (series 1) or f / 3.5 (series 2), which stops f / 22 and focuses on three feet, or Wray Buffing 35mm f / 3.5. [1] The camera has a rotating shutter speeds 1 / 25-1 / 200 seconds, more `B ', and synchronized to the flash in the series 2. The terminal of the flash Series 2 is a pair of jacks mounted on the side frame of the goal, Ilford own design, rather than a jack for PC (then standard); the camera is provided with an accessory cable to connect to them.
